Taste of NW has just announced four of wines as winners of their 2017 Seattle Wine Awards!
The Taste NW Wine Awards (Seattle Wine Awards, Oregon Wine Awards and Idaho Wine Awards) is the largest and most prestigious wine recognition program in the state!
We won two Gold medals and two Silver medals
In November 2015, our Malbec and Cab Franc were entered into the Tri-Cities Wine Festival. The Malbec won a Gold Medal and the Cab Franc won a Silver. Although the Blend wasn’t entered, it is made of the Malbec and Cab France. It also has the Sangiovese and Barbara grapes.
Double Gold Medal 2013 Malbec

2013 Malbec: Winner of the Gold Medal Tri-Cities Wine Festival November 2015 and now Gold Medal winner of the 2017 Seattle Wine Awards! The Malbec has a hard driving white-peppery finish. It has hints of black cherry, bordering on cranberry, with an abundance of bright berry flavors. There is also a hint of vanilla spice from the brand new American Oak barrels that we use.

Silver Medal 2013 Cabernet Franc
2013 Cabernet Franc: Winner of the Silver Medal Tri-Cities Wine Festival November 2015 and now Silver Medal winner of the 2017 Seattle Wine Awards! Has notes of Blueberry, black cherry, cranberry and other berry flavors. There is also a hint of vanilla spice from the brand new American Oak barrels that we use.

Silver Medal 2013 Reserve Blend
2013 Reserve Blend: A unique combination of the award winning Malbec and Cab Franc grapes along with Sangiovese and Barbara grapes. There is also a hint of vanilla spice from the brand new American Oak barrels that we use. Our 2013 Reserve Blend won a Silver Medal at the 2017 Seattle Wine Awards!

Gold Medal 2012 Reserve Blend
The difference between this and the 2013 Reserve Blend is 2012 was the year of the Columbia River fires. This blend has a very unique smokiness flavor. Like the 2013, it has a unique combination of the award winning Malbec and Cab France grapes along with Sangiovese and Barbara grapes. There is also a hint of vanilla spice from the brand new American Oak barrels that we use. The Seattle Wine Awards awarded our 2012 Reserve Blend a Gold Medal!
